Classes

Pilates - Improvers & Mixed Ability Classes - Class based on level of those attending. Beginners welcome in Mixed Ability classes.

Pilates Beginners Courses - Course fee is usually set at £55.00 for five sessions. The class is to be kept small (ideally 4 to a max of 10) to ensure that everyone has the required individual attention from the instructor. The course fee is  payable in advance and  secures your place. Information packs provided with course and a personal program for you to follow at home.

Circuit Classes - Classes consist of a 12 minute warm up session. This is followed by a workout at each of the various stations set up (usually 12) until the circuit is complete.  The stations target and exercise various muscles and also incorporate some cardiovascular work. Equipment used includes weights, Swiss balls, skipping ropes, trampette, step, etc.  This is a fat burning session but as each station has various workout levels, you work at your own level of personal fitness. The class then ends with a relaxing 15 minute stretch and cool down.

Body Specifics - Body Specifics  is a calorie burning session to wake up your muscles working towards a strong, lean & toned body and suitable for everyone as you work to your own ability. You will you’re your body shape improving problem areas. Classes consist of a short gentle  warm up followed by a mat session targeting specific body areas – upper body, core, lower body. Depending on the size of the class, exercises may move from mats to Swiss balls, etc. Again, this will end with a 10 -15 minute cool down, stretching the muscles worked in the session.       

Swiss Ball / Fit Ball Sessions A training session where various exercises,  covering all muscle groups are demonstrated, taught  and performed, allowing you to work with the new innovative exercises at home. This  diminishes the onset of boredom with your present routine. A mixture of exercises covers all levels from beginner to advance. All students are required to provide their own Swiss Balls.
